EXPERIENCE

Kari Wolsky has resided in the U.S., France and England and now calls Miami home. She lives in the downtown/Brickell area and enjoys the energy of this global village and all it has to offer, but also spends time and has a strong familiarity throughout the area. She has over 20 years of global business development experience and holds real estate licenses in both Florida and California. In addition to the south Florida market, Kari is knowledgeable about real estate markets in both northern and southern CA, after living and working for many years in the San Francisco bay area and Los Angeles.

She is fluent in English and is conversational in French and Spanish, and her professional background includes positions for companies such as Viacom/MTV, Comcast and FOX, where she worked in business development in the U.S. and abroad helping to launch and expand those brands. One of her favorite professional accomplishments was putting together a joint venture while working for MTV in London to launch a localized Hebrew Nickelodeon channel in Israel.

As a result of being raised in the Midwestern U.S., Kari maintains the values and work ethic engrained from growing up in this region yet can combine this with her international experience to provide clients a truly global perspective. The type of negotiation skills and cultural sensitivity required to conduct business successfully throughout Africa, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and the U.S., are what Kari offers her clients, and her keen sense of deal making is put to good use in the increasingly global south Florida real estate market.

In addition to maintaining a global perspective, Kari practices an awareness and sensitivity to diversity, and provides strong follow through and relationship building skills. She has learned through experience the importance and art of active listening, of listening more than one speaks, and of asking the right questions, and is happiest when she is helping clients achieve their goals. When not working, you can find her enjoying time with family and friends, skiing, scuba diving, golfing, traveling, cooking or on the lookout for a new place to enjoy south Florida’s amazing international cuisine.
